Condé Nast Gold List
The Upper House is the defining work of Hong Kong architect André Fu — a 117-room hotel in the Pacific Place complex in Admiralty that reimagines the luxury hotel as a private residence. The rooms, which begin at 60 square metres, are among the largest in Hong Kong, with a palette of warm oak, stone, and hand-crafted textiles. The hotel has no lobby in the conventional sense — guests arrive directly to the 38th floor, where the reception, lounge, and Café Gray Deluxe are located, with panoramic views of Hong Kong Island. The Upper House is for travellers who find conventional luxury hotels too loud.
