The Emory opened in 2023 in Knightsbridge, designed by Thierry Despont in a building by Richard Rogers. The 61 suites — there are no standard rooms — are the most generously proportioned in London, beginning at 75 square metres, with a design language of lacquered wood, hand-crafted furniture, and bespoke art. The hotel's restaurant, Akira Back London, is one of the finest Japanese-Korean restaurants in Europe. The Emory is for travellers who find conventional luxury hotels too predictable.
