Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center
If you haven’t been to Philadelphia lately you might be caught off guard by the fact that the current Four Seasons is an entirely different hotel a few blocks away from the one you used to know. Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center, to give it its full name, is no longer a historical landmark on Logan Square, but a skyscraper-topping refuge in Four Seasons’ new forward-looking contemporary-cool style. With architecture by Norman Foster, sound design by Brian Eno, floral arrangements by Jeff Leatham, and food by Jean-Georges Vongerichten, among others, this Four Seasons makes a big splash. And though it’s decidedly modern in style, the city’s traditionally minded Four Seasons clientele has embraced it with open arms. (Nobody particularly minds a spectacular 57th-floor infinity pool.)
