Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Cartagena opened in April 2026 across a collection of restored buildings in Getsemaní, close to the Walled City and Cartagena’s cultural centre. The project brings together the former Club Cartagena, historic cloister spaces and contemporary guest areas, with design contributions including François Catroux, WATG, Wimberly Interiors, SBM Interior Design and AvroKO.
The 131 accommodations include contemporary rooms and suites alongside 27 colonial-style rooms and suites within the heritage buildings. The published room inventory spans Colonial and Landmark-View Rooms, terrace rooms, studio suites, a One-Bedroom Suite and the two-bedroom Catroux Suite, which has private-elevator access, a dining room with pantry kitchen and a terrace plunge pool.
Eight restaurants and bars range from The Grand Grill and Pizzeria Della Chiesa to rooftop El Palmar and the Atrio lobby lounge. Umari Spa occupies a restored heritage setting with six treatment rooms, a couples suite, steam room and salon services; the hotel also has two rooftop pools and a 24-hour fitness centre.
